My network ran some traffic through Traffic Needs 2 months and have been unsuccessful in getting payment. I've been talking to our account manager and he wrote me this email today

XXXXX,

I got some bad news. We had a conference call yesterday and found out Trafficneeds/Razor Marketing are closing its doors and I am out of a job. Totally caught off guard and was unexpected. We did not get many details, just that we were done. Not fun times at all.

If you have future questions regarding payment matters, please contact Gomin Beyer directly – gomin@razormedia.com

yes this is official.. the email came from my account manager. Anyone serious and I'll give you his email

Been trying to get paid for August's sales. Kept getting the runaround and now the AM emailed saying they found out yesterday sept 29th, traffic needs and razor media are closing shop.

wow, that sucks. i used to do a fair amount of business with Gomin, many moons ago. Good luck to everyone trying to get paid. It's tough to collect money if the company has no money in the bank.

Kiss it goodbye fellas.

Seriously. They read Wickedfire because within 5 minutes of me calling them morons last time when they owed us, they called us quickly and referenced the thread. If they dont have the balls to come in here and at the very least give a hint of life, you just arent going to get paid.

Good luck to everyone. When I pulled our legal counsel in and sent them a last email before turning on collections, they had already mentioned they were in pending lawsuits.

We stopped with these guys over 2 years ago, no complaints about the AMs, they were great people who often hinted to me in private their frustrations (oh, did they know!) that payments could never be on time and were always late. It must have been very hard for these guys to see their bread n butter dropping like flies, all with valid complaints about waiting months and months for payments.

Then from what I gathered, over the last year TN changed its model to be the Advertiser on exclusives vs. just pushing generic offers on other networks. Obviously that didn't work either.

Glad I bailed when I did.

I worked with these guys for 3 months about a year ago and it was like pulling teeth to get these guys to pay me. Once I received payment I cut off all ties. I'm glad we didn't get hit.
