Yeah, once we build out more features we'll switch to a freemium model similar to SEMRush, etc, where you get a small subset of the results with a free account and pay a subscription for access to the full database.

If you measure a man's worth by his competitors, both of these fuckers are very well endowed.

The thing that most of you don't realize is that it's hard getting the word out when you have a monopoly. Both tools are unique enough to stand on their own, but the unintended synergy between competitors actually raises the tide ... which lifts all ships. Just picture it in your head that their advertising is MUCH more effective because there's no such thing as a saturated market for this niche right now. This is the reason some of the drama that's happened lately in SBT never made sense to me ... you won't see these 2 getting in a pissing match and both will be (have been) financially secure for a long time.

First, congrats Ilya, this CN tool looks to be solid. And yes, I think SaaS is excellent direction for you to go as opposed to capitalizing directly on the data.

You might want to reconsider freemium, there is something distructive yet high maintenance about people who are looking for a handout.

Yeah, we're adding new data every day but we still have a long way to go towards having the most comprehensive database possible.

In addition to the text ads we've been tracking so far, today we added banner ads running on the Content Network. Some of these guys are getting away with pretty creative stuff on Google.
