Trying to edit MW Wordpress theme template

I have the Wordpress MW template, and I'm trying to edit the part at the end of every post where it says,

Written by admin on with .
Read more articles on and


I went into the theme editor and edited "single post" and found those lines of code, (I don't really know php) but I could see where the code was for "Written by.." etc.. and I deleted that part, and updated. Although it didn't remove it from the blog, it's still there but the code isn't in there. I couldn't find this code in any other pages.

Any suggestions?

Nevermind, the code was in index.php
