For those of you who are upset cus your 360 won't play divx or any other media than wmv files across network shares, I just found this really cool free media server software.

It transcodes divx & xvid files into wmv on the fly as it streams it to the xbox. Pretty damn neat and it works great.

I haven't tried this, but Transcode360 has been doing on-the-fly transcoding for Xbox360 for ages. Downside is that you have to have Windows XP MediaCenter and with TVersity you don't.
