I noticed under the referrals section on AdSense it says:

"You may not purchase online advertising to try to drive traffic and generate conversions for Referrals unless you have the permission of the advertiser and your site complies with google's Landing Page Quality Guidelines. google does not grant this advertising permission for anygoogle products or products within google pack."

Does anyone have experience promoting AdSense referrals with AdWords? Have you had your profits taken away? Please advise ...

Profits won't get taken away, as this is not stated in any terms that are agreed to (well, they didn't yank my few thousand in commission from 2 days...), but that's not guaranteed. They did pick up on it fairly quickly for me, and I was sending everything through a landing page, on 2 separate accounts (different logins, contacts, IPs accessing it, etc.).

You probably shouldn't do it. While I haven't heard of commissions being taken away, is it really worth it if they do and you lose out on a month's worth of advertising expenses? Besides...email submits, short forms, and other cpa offers pay better anyway...

I wouldn't do it, the risk vs reward simply doesn't seem worth it...and JoeZ is absolutely right, there are better places to send your visitors to.
