Using Twitter as a Marketing tool?

Hi everyone,

I'm running speed dating events in pubs/bars and considering using Twitter as a method of promoting these events. Is there a way I can search to find single males/females within a particular town/city and add them automatically? Or, what is the best way to market such an event? Is their decent software available to help with this process?

I suggest you use Facebook to promote your dating events. Create a dating page or event, then add targeted friends which from the same city for your account, and invite them to your page. Then you can promote your dating offer to these kind of friends.

The first rule to gaining twitter traffic is to creating something that other people are going to willingly tell their friends about. So long as somebody tells 1.1 friends on average, you are going to be good.

you can do on twitter itself.do highligh that particular guy hobbies,age,group/guy interested for.....then try to match peoples of same interest...all the best...

You can use Twitter's search features to find people to target. I think Facebook is a little easier for geo targeting, but that's just my own experience.

You can have a bot created that performs these searches on free dating websites and scrapes the data.
