V. Putin in NYTimes - A Plea for Caution From Russia

Holy shit.

a) Kudos to Putin for trying to reach out in such a direct manner.
b) Kudos to NY Times for publishing the article. That was pretty ballsy of them.

I also have to note, the US media is god damn good at what they do. Some of the absolute best marketers on the entire planet right there. Even when I'm reading some of the articles about Syria, I catch myself thinking, "geez, that's horrible, we can't allow Syria to do that!". Then I quickly remind myself it's all bullshit.

We don't even know what happened yet, but somehow Syria is this evil regime, and under no circumstances is allowed to have chemical weapons whatsoever. We don't even know who did what yet. Yet, the US is allowed to invade countries using white phosphorus, and all is well in the world. WTF?

He made some good points, but this is a great example of the pot calling the kettle black.

One could equate this article to a lecture on business ethics by Richard Fuld.

It is indeed a mad world when the russian speaks common sense and the american speaks straight up manipulation.

Third Reich USA.
