So I want to put an autoplay video on my landing page and I'm wondering what video host to use because youtube cuts the videos resolution.

I'm looking for a host that also loads pretty fast (it's only a 9mb, 40 sec video)

What do you guys recommend?

If you just care about better quality use Revver or Vimeo, or just host the video yourself on Amazon S3 and use something like JW FLV player.

Or there are tricks to embed higher quality youtube vids. (just add &fmt=22 to your embed URL)

Yeah, I'm looking for quality and a pretty fast load time.

Thats kind of foolish since all online video website cut the video resolutions, unless they want there files to be extremely large.

The most common online video format is .flv all the big guys use it because it can turn any large .avi file into a small ready to use web file, the only issue is that yes it cuts down on the quality a shit load.

Some places do allow other file formats (I'm talking once there online, no conversion to .flv when you upload).

If your looking for quality stay away from the few big video sites and go after someone who has a format other then .flv.

by far the BEST video host on the 'net. the free version is great but i think for like 30/year u can upgrade to the full version.. 1080p streaming (if your connection can handle it), unlimited storage/length/size... plus so many other embed/hosting/viewing options..
 
Stage 6 used to be amazing, and from what I've heard a lot of stage 6ers have moved onto Veoh, but I always found Veoh vids took ages to load.
