VPS Management + Me= Potatoe

Apparently I am a fucktard... Just got my first VPS after being screwed over by HG one too many times.

I went with myhosting:
Custom VPS - CentOS Linux (with cPanel)
Fantastico
20 GB of Disk Space
4 IP Addresses

Is there a "tutorial" source on managing and deploying sites within a VPS environment? I have watched several videos said host provides but it still does not compute with me.

If you can log in to the WHM panel go to "Create a New Account" and set it up for a specific domain and then you can log in to the cPanel you are used to with the credentials at serverip:2082
