Warrior Forum owner Allen 'Simon' Says has reintroduced charges in an attempt to keep his balding head above water. As the owner of the world's 800th most popular website, Says reckons (Reckon says???) that charging gormless newbies a $37 fee to use the private messaging system on his clunky forum is a way to offset his crippling bandwidth, storage and porn subscription costs.
In an interview with NewbieRapist Magazine, Says says that in the new year, WorrierForum will be moving to a 'pay per view' model. Using advanced optometric predictive software, users of his forum will be charged by the number of words they actually read, which will apparently be fairer on the typical newbie, who of course has a tendency to skim over the annoying 'text' bits in an attempt to find the big red button to press that will send them a million bucks a month.
Coming up - Digital Point introduces 'Rag Head Obviation Technology' in an attempt to stop forum spam from the Indian subcontinent.
