Not to derail thread, but I am curious about moving to Florida. We are looking at Boca area, Del Rey, and Tampa. Not too far South. Want to be on or near 95 so we can easily head down to South Beach if desired. Any recommendations or thoughts?

Magic Hat: Tampa's on the west coast of FL, clear across the state from I-95 and the SoBe area. Keep your sights set on Boca Raton/Ft. Lauderdale/Hollywood properties.

Papa: that's a great investment opportunity -- good luck with the sale!

Investors: should be a steady rent income for you with all the students & all the guv'ment/political people up there. No state income tax here in FL either, so may help your bottom line each month if you live out-of-state.

Ha I grew up a couple of blocks away from there. Tallahassee is an alright town I guess but I'm not sure I would ever want to live there again.
