i want to add a LARGE search bar at the top of my wordpress blog. i'm using Woothemes Canvas theme and can't seem to find a plug-in that allows you to create a huge search bar. i have no idea how to make one or get one made. my questions are:
1) what kind of coding do i need to get this done (if i need coding)?
2) what should i say to the developer to make sure it's done right?
3) or, can i do this with some WP plug-in somehow?
below is a picture of the exact kind of search bar i'm after. it's from smashingmagazine. their search bar is normally on the right until you make the browser window smaller (responsive). i just want to have a large search bar at the top all of the time.
