Warning: Online IQ Qizzes are really just a phone scam

On MOST, (not ALL) of these quizzes, the terms are a HUGE paragraph at the bottom of the page. Not exactly hidden.

But, you're not supposed to see it either.
If they could hide it, they would.

But, they can't, so they put it below the fold, and put all the meaningful content above the fold, so the user would never have to scroll down.

depends on the size of the monitor.

There are 2 disclaimers. Both top and bottom which makes the quizzes legal.
The banner with the girl who has 8 eyes is my favorite

I mean, it might as well be a scam.

Technically it isn't a scam, but if someone came up to you in a grocery store and said, "Hey, I can send you those eggs you're about to buy for half-price, straight to your house, give me the money and your address and they'll be there tomorrow." You're like okay, sure. And then when you get outside the dude chases after you and rapes you in the ass, and you're like, "wtf, man". He says, "Oh, you never read the terms and conditions on the back of my right wrist, this is perfectly legal."

No one is going to read the terms and conditions EVERY TIME they sign up for something. Imagine if every forum, online service, you signed up for pulled some rebill baby back bullshit, you wouldn't trust the internet anymore.

Also, for the record, how many times have you ever completely read the terms and conditions to anything? I bet it'll be less then 10 times.

Sure, you're taking advantage of someone. But you're acting like they're fucking retarded for not doing something that nobody does anyways.

How many of WoW 11 million subscribers have read the ToS?
Have you read the ToS for every aff network you signed up with?

Wrong. Your analogy sucks more than your mom when trying to pay for rent.

That happened to me once. We've been happily gay-married for 5 years now.

Speaking of that, there's an IQ test running on Facebook that doesn't push to the phone offer until after delivering your IQ (so that you post it on your profile for everyone to see) where all my dumbest friends are scoring 130+.

Also, these things are basically scams. Fine print or not, you're tricking someone in to paying for something that they had no reason to believe would be billed for. "Free ringtones" offers are the same, but slightly less scammy, I guess, since you're actually interacting with it.

I guess my IQ isn't as low as I thought. I took the quiz and when it asked me for the phone number, I stopped.

Hello friend,

If already know about affiliate marketing it no count.

It like you already know about site of spinning penis so you click on site of spinning penis.

So what you are saying is that the stupid people should not be responsible for themselves. Like you shouldn't be responsible for this post.

If I signed up for a network and agreed to terms and didn't read them then it's on me when they rape me. If you fucking take an IQ test and then give them your cell number and then respond to a text they send you then YES you owe them $9.99/month until your dumb ass cancels it. They should charge you a fucking retard tax.
