Also, these things are basically scams. Fine print or not, you're tricking someone in to paying for something that they had no reason to believe would be billed for. "Free ringtones" offers are the same, but slightly less scammy, I guess, since you're actually interacting with it.

And you're one of those fucking people that will whine for the rest of their life about how they can't make a decent dime online. It's not a fucking scam, if you aren't gullible. When you enter your phone number, you receive a text message with the subscription price in it. There is no excuse for falling for it past that point. Advertising as a whole is an industry to trick people, holy fuck.

People really need to get out of the fucking mindset in that there are "free" things in this world, without strings attached. Course everything has strings attached. It all comes down to making that buck.

What the hell do you think these offers are for? Data. Fucking duh. They are getting data then selling it, or blasting it themselves. SMS marketing is going to explode. Many people are now just getting a cell phone and that's it.

I heard the reason Netflix can keep their prices so low has something to do with the amount of data they sell. Think about it, they have your home address, then data as to what movies you watch, and your email. So is netflix a scam too?
