As a society, I think we're fucked but somehow it keeps rolling along.

Be careful what you wish for though... these are the same people who click our ads and sign up for our offers.

I'm leaving the house now to go out on the street and begin introducing myself to people as the King of England. I think I'll tell them the queen mum is falling on some hard times lately and ask if they care to sign up for a recurring sponsorship say, a hundy or so a month until things brighten up. :D

I especially liked the guy who thought we ought to invade Italy next. If we do, I'm going! I love the food and the women... not always in that order.

How is that related?

I used to be, but I'm fairly middle ground nowadays. Its stupid to align with one side or the other, when there are hundreds of issues to take a 'stance' on. I'm pro guns, limited anti abortion, and for small government, but at the same time I understand the usefulness and need for some social programs like Medicare and Social Security, both of which would work in principle, but can't because they're set up completely fucktardedly, and managed by a bunch of corrupt politicians.
I refuse to call myself republican until the party cleans house and goes back to their roots. If you're a true conservative, you'll be completely up in arms about the disgrace the current administration is giving the conservative name.
I've been liking Ron Paul a lot lately. He actually believes in the constitution and abides by it, and his extensive voting record shows it. Although many of his personal beliefs don't align with mine, he votes according to the constitution, leaving everything else up to the states (as it should be).

We have been laughing at you for over 10 years right now. This isn't anything new. You're just a stupid nation, that's all. But hey, look at it different. At least you're the richest (after EU) and most advanced (after Japan) and center of civilization (after everyone). However, you can always sell us dumb stories that you hate oil and want to share happiness...

If English isn't your first language why go the US way? ... (they aren't the centre of civilisation after all!)

Plenty wrong with the UK and the rest of the world too... but I think America definitely has more than it's fair share of idiots - and it's fuckin scary when they get to run the show!

I blame the dumbing of our society on the do-gooders who have made it their lifes goal to protect us all from ourselves.

As a youngster, I don't recall warning labels on electric appliances reminding users to not take them into the shower. Nor do I recall labels boldly warning users not to stick their appendages up lawn mower discharge chutes nor flashing lights and dinging bells to remind drivers to put on their seat belt.

How did my generation and those before manage to survive?

The population has skyrocketed in the last couple decades, thanks mainly I think to modern innovations to protect and preserve the lives of idiots and morons. By allowing more of them to survive to maturity they are able to reproduce and drive the collective intelligence through the floor.

What will they do next, ban the sale of explosives to rednecks?!

I, for one, am wholeheartedly in favor of the law of natural selection.

I'm pretty sure America isn't the richest nation, depends how you measure it, but I guess it's the UAE or another Arab state... fuck it... I'm curious now!

Ok, this surprised me a bit! Seems it's Luxembourg. (on http://www.mrdowling.com/800gdppercapita.htmlGDP per capita - the only fair way to compare different sized countries.) Going by that site the US is 6th.

Success is too subjective for me to want to get into discussing that now!

Apart from all that though, wealth does not equal intelligence. There's some very intelligent poor people and plenty of stupid rich ones.
 
Great, just what we need. Another fucking discussion about this video. I guarantee if I were to go to the UK and ask a whole bunch of people questions, I could compile a video of all the dumb fucks being stupid. Thats basically what these guys did.

Lest we forget the American war machine or their thriving economy. The European Union is only the richest because a bunch of countries decided to get together and have a party. If Canada, the US, and Mexico did that they'd easily pwn the EU.

Please explain to me what makes Croatia a more economical, stable, or palatable nation? I would absolultey love to find out.

Like was said you could do this with any country and make them look stupid. But for the guy who said America is the most successful you've obviously never heard of China?
