This is a good point and and VPS will only cost me around 100 per month. Cheers dude.

I can recommend SiteUptime - Website Monitoring Service, free, and it works.
(You can pay for some extra crap)

They send notifications to your email address... but most cell phone carriers will allow emailing to you as text. For example:

222333444@mobile.mycingualr.com still sends the email to me as a text.
