Weird domain issue

I've installed a newer cms on one of my hostgator add on domains for a client, but instead of showing when I go to theirdomain.com it shows a 500 server error and only shows when I go to mymaindomain.com/theirdomain.com/

What could be the problem?

Plz help me I hate this new cms

Check out that you also have .htaccess file in addon domain folder.
