I currently have about 50 WH sites hosted on my VPS. I am only using 1 IP address for all of these sites, of the 4 I have available. I want to start up a bunch of splogs today, would it be safe to host them on the same VPS, just on a different IP? Or would my best bet be to get another hosting account altogether?
 


Ask your hosting company for some new IPs. If they're a big company and haven't given you IPs for a while, chances are the new ones will be on a different C-block. :) You can specifically request that too.

I just asked my host for some new IPs and they want to know what I want them for. I'm not quite sure why they want to know, something about SSL certificates. What should I tell them?
 
tell them stop asking so many questions.

Honestly though just say for SEO purposes. If they say no ask where to get a new host.
