What kind of ctr are you getting from dating, games and download offers?
i usually get ctr of about 0.08.
 


And is .08 profitable for you? That seems to be the average most people see without either a really good ad (difficult to get approved usually) or tons of testing regimens. .06-.12 is probably the starting range but a .12 ctr would most likely be profitable for many many offers unless they didn't convert.
 
completely bogus question. i can target kim kardashian fans, and throw up a picture of her and get a crazy high CTR but it doesnt mean shit

i can also get a ctr of .02 and be profitable on an offer payin $30.00 its all depends on what your targeting and your offer

not completely bogus. the ctr's need to be a certain level in these verticals to be profitable due to the low CPA's, dating not so much.

what is bogus is that you need to clarify where you are promoting and to who. I dont work with anything less than .1 for volumes sake on downloads and gaming CPL's
 
I'd like to know myself what others are getting for dating ads. In the good ol' days (like 2 months ago), I was getting up to .15% or more for my best ads.

Now that FB has banned breasts, it's hard to get anything above .08 and I can't make a profit on that.

I seriously don't understand how you're supposed to run a successful dating campaign nowadays when they only let you put up a head shot of a woman.
 
.3+ in multiple niche dating. Surprised other affiliates haven't jumped on it in all these months. Your scrapers are getting rusty guys :)
 
.08 was the best i ever achieved. That campaign was hovering just below break even point so I tried 5 more variations (same copy different images) only to have all 6 shut down a few days after initial approval.

still money in dating but its much harder than it was a year ago
 
Trying a US Female dating campaign and the suggested bid is 0.70-0.90. WTF???? Without amazing high CTR and CPM bidding how would anything be profitable at these levels?

its impossible now that facebook has tightened their regulations. Dont even bother trying anymore.

Used to do dating a lot previously but not since the new regs. CTR's of good stuff were between .08 and .12 usually. Just cycle images that get around that CTR to get costs reasonable and keep looking for ones that are profitable at that CTR.

Super hard to do now with all the changes over there. Facebook is totally dead for me.

Start by bidding a fraction of the 'suggested bid' price. Like one-third to one-half (maybe around 0.25 to 0.30 in this case). You won't get all the impressions available of course but you still get enough to farm some data and narrow your target audience
 
This is a completely relative question, however on broad demographics, if you can get to around .14 - you should be in very good shape. Trial and error my friend, that is all FB is.
