What do you guys write about when doing manual backlinks on blog comments?

I have scrapebox and I harvested a good amount of wordpress blogs somewhat related to my keywords. I wanted to start slow with the backlinks to my new site, but I'm not sure what exactly to write about in the comment section.

Do I just read the blog and make a relevant comment? Promote my site? Or just say that I enjoyed reading their blog?

Of course I'll put my site in the "website" field too.

Srs?

If you're doing them manually you might as well take the time to skim over the article topic and write something related to the actual website you're on.

The generic shit will waste the blog owners and your time.

All about ROI on your time here.

SB is best used with an Auto Approved blog list. OR you can find niche blogs and comment on them but no matter how relevant your post the owner might just go in and delete all the comments like I do.

When I am manually commenting on blogs I will quote part of the article and then add something such as "I agree with blah, blah, blah", I feel that the longer the post is the better (because the quote was added), and because I have actually quoted and answered part of the post it makes it more likely to stick.

The entire point of commenting on a blog post is to "comment about the blog post". I'm really not being rude here, but you shouldn't have to ask the question about what you "should" write about. The keyword here is "should".

Just because the 99% of people who use SB go apeshit and spam with unrelevant comments doesn't mean you should. As Hav3n said, it's all about ROI for your time. Even if you used spun comments, there is still time wasted in posting to those blogs, so write something relevant that will look relevant when read by a person.

The person's blog post gets more relevant text for use in Google to be more relevant for their keywords, you get links that stick, in turn, as their page gets more authority, so do your links. It's in everyone's interest to post relevant comments.

I do this also. Simply engaging, and writing relevant to the article. Also asking questions helps.

My favourites are along the lines of "What a great post but some errors might be in your HTML format codes. I will link to it also from my blog."

Got this one today:

I am really pleased with this service. I am one of those people who said, “I’ll never call a psychic or a magician or whatever” to help me with my problems – least of all my love problems, but I reached the point where I knew I needed some guidance, and I’m so glad I found this website and churchofnativevity@gmail.com. I never in a million years would have thought I’d be writing a letter like this, but when I nearly lost Amanda in one of our stupid, petty fights (usually started by yours truly), I thought I had lost everything. And when I was at my most desperate, you didn’t take advantage of me. You performed a very good service for a person in true need. I don’t know how you did it, or how this magic works, but all I know is, IT WORKS!! Amanda and I are happily back together, and I’ll always be grateful for Mr. churchofnativevity@gmail.com’s kindness, sympathy, and extension of services to me in a real time of need. Sincerely, Tom Best

This depends on if your using the fast poster "Automated " in scrapebox

or

if you decided to just use SB to find do-follow blogs that you can submit blog comments too.

If your doing auto poster, you need to find an auto-approve blog list or scrape one yourself. I recommend filtering them out to remove LOW PR sites, HIGH OBL SITES, and spammy sites.

If your doing manual posting then I recommend that you read the article and try to create a comment that doesn't just say "thanks" but instead adds something to the article or provides something useful to the discussion going on already.

Also if you don't want your comment deleted, a lot of times its worth the work to find the Moderated blogs as your comment wil be much more likely to stay on there if its already passed moderation.

Spamming the best way to get your links removed.

When manually posting you should probably take the time to read atleast part of the article and give your (usually 100% bullshit) input.

Bloggers like people to talk about the articles they post and start discussion. If you just promote your site or give them a generic "I really liked your post!" they'll probably just mark it as spam.
