I need to edit and create videos/movies/music. I also want easy access to social media. Kind of like a cloud feature? Please help and thanks in advance.

You can put it on a regular old CD or a thumb drive. I'm not sure how many netbooks have a cd drive in them. Worse come to worse you spend like $10 or less on a thumb drive.
what is something similiar to jolicloud. I like how everything was easily accesible but it had apps that would download and not work plus a few minor issues. I like that concept though.
Slax is cool for things like that. You can start with a basic live CD/USB and install apps via their site straight from the browser. When you get a configuration you like, you can generate a custom build and port it out to an ISO. Well you can do that with almost anything, but Slax is more user-friendly about it.
he doesnt even know what linux is. linux has a huge learning curve. why would you be recommending that?
