Yo I jus heard theres a Media buy coach.
You should spend 199 a month to learn from teh bestests!1@2!!6!

Give each creative a id and track its conversions. Take the three hiest converting and put them all into the mix with 7 other creatives. Keep doing this until you have 3-4 high converting creatives and launch them one by one. As banner blindness kicks in launch the 2nd creative and so on. Keep a nice flow of creatives coming in for your cmpaings and you never have to spend time with no income with your campaign.

Got to be very careful split testing banner ads.

If you have a banner of a hot girl in a bikini you need to only change one thing at a time. So if she has brown eyes, in the split test first you want to test blue eyes. Once you determine if brown or blue is better, than you have to compare it to green eyes and so on. You can usually get away with skipping black eyes, but sometimes, depending on the offer, they might surprise you.

After getting the eyes right, you want to focus on the text. Now some people might start with the font itself, but that is putting the cart before the horse. First you need to get the proper font spacing. So play with it. If you run groups, you can usually get away with trying out just 16 or 32 different font spacings before you find the ideal one for your campaign.

That should get you started.

yeah then you should split test if she has a Brazilian wax or just a tasteful landing strip, and 25k per ad to test, where did you learn media buying, traffictactics.com. The best way to test creatives for a media buy is to watch what those of us that are spending 6 figures a month in traffic are doing, then steal the banners, landers they point to, offers they push users to and networks they are on just like everyone pretends they don't do so they can say how "low" and "gay" jacking creatives and LP's are :)

I hope nobody is taking this literally. The concept is spot on, however the amount of detail is a little too much. Not saying small details don't matter in media buys but...

I do surveys on the street. Hire some college kids and print out webpages and show the print outs to people. Then they see if they try to click them with their finger.

Joint venture with someone. Someone with traffic.

Failing that, do what kingfish suggested :D

Wow a month old thread back from the dead. I find bathroom stalls work wonders with creative testing. I don't know how many times I pulled out my iPhone while taking a dump and bought something.
