I'd say about 50% end up dead, 25% break even, 15% make a profit and the other 10% actually make me a LIVING... hehe :)

Very good thread. An honest thread without BS. How about the big arrogant boys like NickyCakes, uber, etc. post their rate here? The only thing they got on the rest of us is persistance and they know it.

Since I last posted in this thread, I cut the bullshit and launched over 30 campaigns on the content network. Almost 80% have failed (that is, didn't profit consistently for more than a day).

Probably 70%+ of my campaigns fail. Right now I've been running and tweaking a campaign for nearly a month now, with 1500 clicks, I'm still down about the $20 from when I started. Just waiting for a confirmation pixel to be placed in order to optimize this thing and actually have orders coming in on a regular basis. Most of my recent attempts have been with the Google Content network, so that could explain some of it.

I just got started three or so days ago; but what appeared to be profitable, is no longer covering the campaign's costs. :(

50-80%

But I have found it does depend on my Blood Alcohol level at each stage of developing a campaign.

I am ok with a high BAC during the research phase but fall apart on the select languages in Adwords phase if I am blotto!

You know that African Language where they click their tongues to make words?

I need to cut back on choosing that one.
