What to promote for Christmas?

Nothing. Trust me, with the credit crunch and all that, nobody's buying anything this Christmas. Come back xmas 2010.

Christmas offers are rushed and rarely do well. Networks may have one or two winners, like flying monkeys or rc helicopters.

Depends on the experience of the affiliate. A smart and experienced affiliate would have his/her campaign ready to launch a month in advance. I always have my campaign's keywords, landing pages and offers a month before a popular holiday. In return, I typically increase my profits 3 folds on holidays than on typical days.
