Hey guys,

so I'm get spammer accounts on my forums and other sites no matter which captcha script I use... which led me to wonder what kind of captcha would be totally spam-proof? Any ideas? If I ask a simple question like what color is the sea or spell the last word of this sentence backwards, would that be crackable by spam bots?

Custom questions are good.

The best would be to use multiple images. Require answering a question that uses a random 3 out of 4 images. The only problem here is that too many idiots would never get signed up.

We are reaching the point where the average internet user is less intelligent than the best bots.

Even recaptcha is getting cracked easily these days, so the only option will be manual approvals after a random question on you niche during sign-up.

the custom question idea seems solid to me, how would a bot be able to answer a question like what's the last letter of the alphabet? and if some user isn't able to answer this question well I don't want him on my forum anyway lol

anything that a human can solve can be broken by a team of indians/filipinas/whoever for $2 per thousand. better to ask yourself how can i profit off the spammers?
