I have a aff site in registry cleaner niche (regcure)...It is doing ok in organic search, making constantly $400-$500/month (already $500 this month)....

I want to learn PPC so I thought I would try it with this site, already built a landing page for it. But I asked some guys in another forum and they recommended me to stay away from that in PPC, because it is so competitive and conversions to low and I should try something else with PPC, like submit/zip offers. So I can't decide here...

What do you think?....

Specifically, you should research how crowded your niche is. Over played niches will be very expensive and have low conversion rates. If you have a good focused niche that gets traffic but doesn't have every AM and his brother working it, you could be ok. And not only test, but keep a close eye on any of your PPC campaigns. They can go from productive to expensive if your not paying attention.

You don't need to research any keywords to start. Just bid on the keywords that are already making you sales.

Agreed, you're 3 steps ahead of the game. You already have organic traffic coming from searches and (should be) tracking their conversion %. Since you have the data, you'll know exactly what your break even point is ... bid accordingly.

You're also going to kick the quality score's ass since google is already ranking you for the keywords organically. Just split test the ad copy so your CTR is as high as possible and you're CPC will end up much cheaper than your competition's clicks.

Remember, a competitive niche is usually a profitable niche. Competition is and will always be an issue. Since your research is done, I say take over the niche and go kick their ass ... you've already pwnd the hard part.

Thanks guy. You are so right erect. I am doing tracking, and I know my numbers. I downloaded the spreadsheet from tracking software. Hell I've already got 150 converting keywords to go after. Some of them are expensive though in adwords. But I know how much I can bid.

Thanks for waking me up...

I'll sure be back..
