Whats the best way to monetize online movies site

hi guys i am running a movies site that is started few time ago which contains online movies (hollywood and other) site have a traffic of 40000/month unique .. if you have a good way that worth's my site and can provide me atleast 50-100$/m
 


Did you try adsense? I think your website should average $10/day with adsense (assuming good CTR ad placement)
 
could do adsense, content locking, sell banner space, sell pops, promote CPA, etc

depends on the type of "movies"

Find some other sites like yours, and see how they are monetizing.

do you recommend any networks that will pay for cpm/popunders? Most dont allow copyright content which is what i assume most movie streaming sites use.
 
I'd recommend
A near full page slide in hover ad with an iframe to a facebook app dating offer such as cupid.com.
So everytime they load a page with a video on it the landing page will slide in from either the side or the top to cover the video until they click the close button.

The frame will be closeable so they can ignore it and watch their movie but that app allow button will get pressed by a percentage for the conversion.

Cupid.com offer pays out $2.50 per app install and has an avg hover ad epc rate of $0.09 on entertainment/gossip/celeb sites. That comes out to about $90 CPM! Landing Page: http://apps.facebook.com/cupidcom/

do neflix subs work for these sites or are they used by freeloaderss? worth a try

Content locking pops into my mind, but delay it for 10-20 seconds so people know that you have the legit stuff and not just some fake bs.
