So, I have some stuff indexed on Google and I want to get rid of it for obvious reasons.

The page has already been removed but the info is still indexed, it's been over a month and it's still there.

What's the fastest way to remove it?

Is is a WP blog? If so turn off the seo feature in the privacy settings. Or perhaps send an insane amount of links to it in one day and it should go poof.

would laugh if it went to the top. maybe put a 503 redirect to some other domain

If you mean the cache you're better off letting them index it and putting up something new for them to cache instead. Otherwise it's a crap shoot to get rid of it. Also try the webmaster tools.

Sorry, I didn't make it clear enough.

The site is not mine. I have no control whatsoever.

Yes, I've contacted the owner of the site last month to remove some of the details (my contact and personal information) on the page. He removed it but the info is still cached/indexed in Google's listing.

The few people who know how to do that aren't gonna say it in this thread. I mean, I wish they would but I wouldn't hold my fucking breath.

Like the other poster said, you can try throwing like 500k shitty links at it real fast. But if it's an established domain you may very well end up pushing this thing to #1 and turning it into a monster.

the cache copy will change soon enough. What's your hurry that you can't have your info on a page for a couple of weeks more? Does it point somewhere special or is it just wrong info?

Either way, being de-indexed from Google is not a serious problem for most people, quite the opposite in fact lol

Gary, is that you?

put a noindex/nofollow tag in the index.html,index.php or default.aspx file....

The other option load a malware script in to it... google tends to hate that...
