I hate ReviewMe...I think it ruins blogs. But I got a bit of a laugh out of this one.

John Chow reviewed Make Money Online - Seven Day System - Make At Least $500 in 7 Days - Autopilot Money Making System recently and basically pointed out how the guy running it was the only one really making money off of the deal.

Even more hilarious the guy then actually uses Johns negative review as a testimonial on his homepage.

""I have to hand it to Michael Nivola. The system he came up with is impressive from the marketer’s standpoint." John Chow

By the way, if anyone is really offended by the guy and wants to ban his adsense account *cough Shawn Collins cough* they might point out to google that he has arrows pointing to his freaking adsense ads.

He got a quote, he got a link, I think the guy is happy.

I doubt he ever expected to get sales from Chow.

LMAO, did anybody see these clown's "signatures"?

Besides the obvious fact that it lowers the professionalism of your site, dont you think it's a bad idea to send people away to buy something else?

It never fails to amaze me that there are enough dumb people out there to make a page like this profitable. :xomunch:

There are huge "professional" sites like Amazon and Buy.com that have contextual ads on their sales pages throughout their site... Obviously they didn't put those up on a whim without any measurement of the effect on sales.

So amazon has contextual ads that link to competitor sites? I've never seen it. Contextual ads that link to other places in their site are a different story.

Click here and then scroll down to "Customers viewing this page may be interested in these Sponsored Links". You'll see ads from competitors.

Buy.com has even more competitor links... This page shows the Add to Cart to purchase from Buy.com, but then below that it has some PriceGrabber-driven price comparison that links to competitors and then further down there are some sponsored text links (via Google's Search Network, I believe).

I'll be damned it looks like you are right. Although...

"Clickriver Ads is an advertising program - currently in beta - that allows businesses to advertise services and products that complement the selection on Amazon.com. Clickriver is offered by A9.com, a wholly owned subsidiary of Amazon.com."
