i hate when people say an historic. sure somebody decided it is ok but it is still more fluid to say a historic.
not dickroll ^^^

i seriously hate when people get "a" and "an" wrong....especially when it's a company posting on craigslist. it's become AN affiliate manager.

I would personally assume that most affiliate managers were themselves affiliates. Are they allowed to promote offers once they're employed by a network?

So what specific qualities should an affiliate manager posses?

Because I deal with affiliate managers and most of them aren't very good at their jobs. Some of the networks have GOOD ones, but many are hired from with in the company and might have been anything prior to being thrown in that position.

ok - yes strip clubs is my first stop - but have not had too much luck i hate to say - i mean had some luck, lost some money, drank too much, and hired someone but no did not get a AM. I have tried a few approaches teach someone green as hell, or hire someone with PPC, SEO, Email, Affiliate marketing skills the second is a better choice and where to find them - I have a pretty large network of biz contacts and they usualy come through there, i think most biz owners have this. I also post CL ads, and industry mag ads, for the ads CL has been the most effective but you have to go though a ton of crap. I just posted a few new ads since Motive is always looking for talented Affiliate Managers.

I believe that a background in the industry gives any AM the insight to be able to better understand the needs of the publishers they are assisting. Intelligence is always a plus!

Just found something looks like you don't need to know anything after all,

So thanks and see you around the forum : )

I hire all my AM's from here usually. I think according to that chart I pay them to much.... you hear that Kaveman and Yubrew :P

Hello friend,

I serious. I always thought affiliate manager job pay very good. I know affiliate manager get paid commission base on how well affiliate they manage perform. Like 2% to 4%.

So if manager have 1 super affiliate who make $1 million commission a month, the affiliate manger get over $30,000 from 1 affiliate alone.

Say total commission $2 million a month from all affiliate manage. That is over $60,000 a month. That is over $700,000 a year.

Some people well no earn $700,000 a year even if work entire life. Why won't many people fight to get affiliate manager job?

Good luck bro

Wow!
