If you have a proper silo site structure, is it best to send links right at the index, at the category pages, or at the inner pages for the keywords that you're trying to rank? Wordpress CMS.

everywhere you can put a link man. If you want 80% of your links to main keyword, hit the 20% to the sitemap with random ones, like suggested... It won't hurt, from some experimenting. Actually, smart thinking to the guy that suggested hit the sitemap. From my testing anyways.

Send em to your sitemap nub.

Then your link juice would spread to unnecessary pages like privacy policy contact us etc.

There is no such thing as hitting "unnecessary pages" in SEO... It's SEO man, this isn't wig splitting science here.

use different variations of keywords.

hit your main target with your main keyword.

i prefer not to silo.

I noindex category pages, and dont like to send juice to them, i always nofollow the silo links.

Reason being, bouce rates are a bitch on category pages, its best for you, to tell google not to index these pages, and index and rank the content pages higher.

Anyone that can rank #1 in Google in a matter of minutes definitely knows what they are talking about!

ditto... what a faggot banner, this place is going to turn into DP and Wafo with the influx of snake oil salesmen
