OK, this is whois information just tells us that they are hidding their address and phone number, which is obvious enough from their website.

I wish there was some way to find out where exactly their office is . I live approximately 10 miles from the post office where their PO Box is located, so I could even stop by their office if someone finds out where it is.

Obviously they dont want people to find them. You could try a job board search and see if they are hiring to find out where they are located.

Why don't you just design a landing page that looks like that and go with one of the aff companies that are well known and want to be found and that wasn't started a few months ago?

ViralPartnership Network

Hey Everyone,
To introduce myself, my name is Vinh and I’m one of the co-founders here at Viral Marketing Media, which is the parent company of ViralPartnership. I’ve been in this market for a little over a year. ViralPartnership is a performance based online marketing company that concentrate on a CPA, CPM, CPL, and CPC model. First, we offer our publishers new exclusive offers through our network, one of the well known exclusive offer that is hosted by us is our “Winzie” ringtone. Secondly, we truly offer the highest payout to our publisher because we truly value and believe in the quality and quantity of leads that our publishers are able to generate for us. Thirdly, viralpartnership offers proprietary tracking software to our publishers to best track all of our campaigns. Lastly, viralpartnership have the most prompt and reliable payments because we know how important and imperative it is for our publishers. ViralPartnership currently have over 200 offers and will be adding hundreds more in the days to come. Since we are still a fairly new company and most of our members are scattered throughout the nation; we currently do not have an office in Maryland. For all of those who are interested and would like to see what ViralPartnership is all about, please sign up as a publisher through our viralpartnership website (www.viralpartnership.com). Some of my team members and myself included will be attending Ad-tech New York this year on November 6th to the 8th, so please give me a call on my direct line that could be found on our viralpartnership website, if you would like to schedule a meeting and I will be glad to answer any questions that anyone may have. Have a wonderful weekend everyone and I will look forward to hearing from everyone:) Take care.

I am kind of amazed at the payouts some of you are mentioning in this thread. So i decided to do a bit of research in the space. I spoke to a good collegue of mine today who has direct relationships with these ringtone guys. He told me something that was rather facinating.

He told me that some of the ringtone guys are applying a shaving model to conversions you send to them in order to continue to payout as much as they have been. The reason behind the shaving model is due to the carriers such as Verizon and Cingular rejecting some of the conversions after the fact. So instead of returning leads they are jacking the pricing up and shaving the pixel counts. Some of you may have noticed over the past month that certain offers have converted less, this may be due to this shaving practice.

I am not sure if this is true or not but i wanted to share it with you guys as youre the ones taking the risk on your media buys and you should be carefull and do your due diligence on the offers you run.

Anyone notice that their conversions have dropped by 30-50%? Can anyone confirm this?

Yeah I've heard that rumor a few more times than I'd like to. It is concerning me as I watch campaigns that were converting a month ago suddenly going 50 to 100 clicks without converting.

I certainly don't want to add to this type of speculation because any legitimate network doesn't want to put their future at stake, but I will say I noticed a huge drop in my ringtone conversions last week (from 40-50 leads a day down to 2). I'm more likely to believe there was some sort of technical issue as opposed to fraudulant activity. I did have to switch networks to stop the bleeding and after I made the switch, things went back to normal.

Its not the ad network shaving the count but rather the ringtone company. This is only what i heard. I do not know if it is true or not.

Any ad network wants to make sure their pubs are making the most money possible because at the end of the day its the ROI for the affilaites that matters most. If your ROI is not in line youll stop running the offers which will result in a loss of revenue for the ad network.
