Hey,

I want to sign up with some of the affiliate networks and get started with affiliate marketing but it seems that they all ask for a website to be provided.

I can't give them a link to an active site so I'm thinking they might reject me because of this.

What networks can I signup for without having an active site?

Thanks

Anyone?

Do I HAVE to have a site to get accepted by the good networks like Copeac and so on?

just make a blog or something. When you apply they are going to call you up to verify your information anyway. At that point let them know how you are going to promote their offers (they will ask you anyway) and go from there. As long as you are legit and they are ok with how you will be promoting their offers you shouldnt have too much trouble getting accepted.

My network doesn't require a website. In fact, we prefer people who only run PPC or email.

if you can't put up a simple fucking website then maybe you should consider a different career path

If your a big n00b and scared of WP then just do a quick google pages site with one of the offers you plan to promote. Really, I think google pages was meant for people that have never even seen the internetz so if they can do it you should be able too. Just throw up a few images some minor content and bam your rearing to go.

Should take you no more than half an hour.

EDIT: That being said, I just looked at the google page TOS and it says "You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, trade, resell or exploit for any commercial purposes, any portion of Google services, use of Google services, or access to Google services." So I wouldn't use this for anything long term...just to get approved. Which I guess is what you were going to do anyway, if you were doing PPC only.

There are a few networks out there that do not require a website to sign up. Get back at me an I will give you one which is good to work with.

You do not have to have a site with Motive Interactive. We know that many affiliates use search. contact me if you have any problems signing up: Motive Interactive | Advent Publisher Sign Up

Most networks have a field in their form that requires a site to be listed. I would give them a call and say what you are doing plus include it in the notes. A good few networks allow just PPC marketing even though you do not have a site.

That's so annoying to read, I applied 2 weeks ago and just got my denial email. All i wanted to do was PPC :error:

Most networks do not require a site, just say what youre going to be doing in the comments box (that is what its there for) put in something for the URL like yahoo.com if its required on the form.

WebSite

You can also go to enom. But a domain for $9 use their free web building tools and just slap something up saying you do email and PPC marketing.
Also, use word of mouth to find the name of an account manager.
Once you develop a relationship or even speak with a rep, they will not need the website.

Hi.. I'm new here and this is my first post :) .. just want to give some suggestion. Seems nobody mentioned about it before above.. I think the easier way to have your "own" site to do affiliate marketing is using blogger.com (blogspot) . You can create a new blog or maybe as many as you want to promote your affiliate.. As we know its free to create blogs there.. Normally most affiliate network also accept this free blog as your own site..

The easiest way to get around this is to sign up under on of the affiliate links from the members you like here, then PM them and get them to help get you approved.

I do this for people that I feel are going to be genuine affiliates, and not just screwing around all day.

Usually once I am able to get the aff manager, the account gets approved within 5 mins.

Note: this may not work as well for bigger networks like linkshare, shareasale and CJ, who have auto-deny if your application doesnt meet their approval criteria.
they're also not as motivated to help you fight for your comms if things go south.

and i like the personal touch from the smaller networks anyway...

i will accept you into ads4dough.com we love ppc and email .. just write referred by Rick!

And if that still doesn't work then just give them a call on the phone and see what will happen then.
