Who is that masked man?

I'm a noob and I didn't intend to post anything until after I had read all the archived posts, at least the noob ones BUT as I was surfing around Blogger and looking at how blogs were written I came across these strange blogs.

It looks like dozens, hundreds, thousands? of similar nonsensical blogs created in sets of three by some Germanic? dude. Now, I'm getting really curious. I bet all WF knows what this is. I don't have a clue, it just looks really, really strange.

So what are they? Here are some of the blog links. No visible ads, just what looks like gibberish. Is this some insider thing?

thats how you setup affiliate blogs didn't you know? upon my 2 sec glance at one of those sites they are splogs=spam blogs with spun content.
 
Nope, I didn't know. I'd planned to put real content on a blog.

nah, I mainly do ppc, however I have recently (month ago) started creating epn sites that I guess some might consider splogs but I always start off with 10 new articles that I write that are legible. However, Im sure there are many who frequent this forum who have success with sites similiar to those in question.
 
The general strategy behind that is to get those pages ranked by putting out something that looks really good to a machine and dropping as many backlinks out there as possible.

Once the pages get ranked and organic search traffic picks up, they will get redirected to a CPA offer or, in this case, paid search results.
