I don't pay any attention to competition,
Same here.
... 65% of Google searches don't result in a top-10 keyword click...
I wonder where you got that info, last I heard it was just about the
opposite, 65% _do_ click in the first page of results.
If you're working longtails correctly, you don't know what they are until you look at your search analytics and say "that's interesting, maybe I'll write more about that."
Very good point.
ok, seems like nobody knows whats up with those links....
There is no way to accurately track incoming links. People used to think
yahoo's search explorer was the authority, LOL. I've seen links in there
that were deleted years ago. Now that it's gone, they don't know what to
do. Enterprising individuals and company's are taking advantage of the
service void. MajesticSEO and tons of other link finders.
There is no way to accurately track incoming links.
If you understand the vast size of the web, you will know that there is
no way to accurately track incoming links.
You think the current tools should be accurate? Why? Accuracy is not
their purpose. Their pupose is to generate traffic and revenue.
Tracking links is like being lost in a room of smoke and mirrors.
Your pc is a machine built on logic, yes, but the internet is built on
traffic, fame-gathering, and revenue.
