Have any of you heard about SpotPlex, its the newest, most popular social bookmarking service, they say its going to destroy digg but they say its impossible to hack like the mob has done with digg.

Well ok they didn't hack digg but you get the point with having so many friends you gaurentee yourself a front page view, basically how spotplex does things is you install a piece of code into your blog and from there it monitors how many visits a particular page gets, the more visits the higher up the chain it gets until you reach the front page.

Its still in beta and the only way you can get an account is by sending them an email and hoping to get in, a week ago they just gave out another 1000 invites, I was lucky enough to get one of those invites to the service, I doubt there are any left though.

Anyway I was wondering who wants to do a SpotPlex hack test with me?, Here is how it works, I'll give you the link to two of my blogs where the SpotPlex code is installed, from there all you need to do is click on a few pages and I'll monitor the increase from spotplex and post the screenshots of my indexed pages here, there should be enough people around to make this successful all we really need is about 40 to 60 page views to get a particular page on the front page of SpotPlex.

Last thing is no this is not blatent self advertising and no I don't want you to click on the ads in my blog or join anything, I don't even care if you read the blog or not all I need to make this work is a single click.

If enough of you show interest in this I'll even dedicate one or two single pages that we can monitor, I'll give you the direct link to that page and all you need to do is click on it and then close the window once it loads, no need to do anything more.

So anyone feel like putting this new hard to hack SpotPlex system to the test? Lets see if we can hack into the top homepages.

I'll leave the choice up to you, once I get enough interest, we will start, if not we'll bury this post.

Why not just send a shitload of fake traffic with multiple referrers? Would save people clicking every day, just start the program up and let it go

Ok so here is how it works, they only give us 24 hours before they remove the article its a system that is build upon new posts every 24 hours, well the new posts which get the most amount of views per 24 hours.

I just finished writing a whole article about it and about the comptition with Digg, this is also going to be the article used as the test. Here it is, everyone click away.

The Spotplex Hack Test.

Oh and did I mention I also Dugg the article On Digg to try and leverage the Digg traffic to increase page views so that will help with the test on getting on the main page of Spotplex in no time at all, It's going to be interesting to record the results.

Hey Aequtias, I'll help you out. Sounds interesting. Let me know what you need me to do.

All you have to do is click this link and wait til the page loads, thats it, you could read the article if you want but its your choice all that is required is a page view.

Oh yeah I should mention that I had to put this article on my Agloco blog and at the end you'll notice something that says "sign up here for agloco".

Just ignore that part.

It was the only half relevent blog for this type of thing I had at the moment.

Well that was easy 32 views in an hour, YAY huge website traffic tonight I tell ya and I've made it to the main page on spotplex for Business.

I'm going to monitor this for the next 24 hours and see how many final Diggs I"ll have and see how much traffic it brings in, I wrote down everything so the numbers should be somewhat accurate, I'll use my tracking tools as well to keep it as accurate as possible.

If your all still intrested in doing this you could help it get above 1000 views to really take the lead or you can Digg the article but anyway I'll keep an eye on this thing throughout the night and tomorrow at about 9:45PM I'll post back with my findings.

I should have done this a totally different way but it only took about 10 minutes to set up and write the article so we'll see what the nightly traffic of Spotplex is like.

Who knows it might be another really good source of free traffic that converts.

ok everyone time for an update on this whole thing, last night I found out something amazing while doing this test, well it actually developed into a full blown theory that could potentially give you an amazing amount of free traffic if done right.

I'm not going to give away any details on it but I'll start the post off with "WickedFire Guide To" and I'll post it in the traffic section, trust me even if you think the theory would never work I bet you'll still love the read once your done.

I'll be posting it up at 10pm tonight (GMT -800) so if your around log in and check it out, If your wondering why 10pm, its because at 9:45pm it will be 24 hours since my test began and that is the exact time I'm going to stop the test at and I'll be showing my results to this hack in tonights article.

The best thing about this theory is that is has the potential to get you 100,000 unique visits in around a weeks time but it might not work ever single time.

Now that might not sound like the best part because its not, you see this theory should also work on a smaller scale, ether way its a great way to get some super easy and free traffic without doing anything different.

Oh I should also mention that it will convert into sales or adsence clicks, it might not be the top method of conversions because your traffic won't be 100% targeted but it will convert for you adsence.

I just received an invite code, your theory you are talking about was the one you talked about in the hacking Digg Post?

I am a newbie at RSS feeds for blogs so I will need to do some quick reading on those and then try your theory too!

The theory has quiet a few holes in it haha but it was only a theory, I have yet to make it fully work, more recently Spotplex has been getting quiet competitive, there are some new more popular blogs up their now and its harder to make a main page, however I'm sure if you play around with it and test out a few things you'll begin to get some free traffic from it.

It might not be the 100,000 in a week but I usually average about 50 to 100 first time visitors to my site through Digg, Spotplex, Reddit, and a few other free resources that only take 2 seconds to submit a page two, these also include del.io.us and StumbleUpon.

not sure if I got it but if this is like ebay's pulse page then you just pay a few $ to BizBla.com - Moving You Forward and AutoHits.dk and you are guaranteed a quadrillion hits in a few hours.

Cool idea. I just checked out your article so your visitor count just went up another one. I just got my invite code the other day so I'll definitely keep an eye on this thread.

Hmm, if you owned a high traffic site... Could you not just post that... even if it isnt a blog?

If it has an RSS feed for your content then yes because spotplex pulls the information directly from your sites RSS, almost all blogs have a stock RSS feed built in.
