Just wondering, been an adult affiliate since 2004, made decent money, but I got lazy and lost most of my income streams, getting back into AM, but this time in mainstream.

I am, but I'm your exact opposite.. I'm just getting started and have next to no idea how this industry works. Making => $500/mo from one blog, which is all I've set up so far. Not seeing the huge money everyone has talked about, which means I"m probably doing it wrong.

scale what you are doing.

I've had more success with programs such as AdultAdworld, AdBrite, ... than with typical adult CPA programs. Mainly because most of my traffic wants only free stuff.

Well the thing is, my one blog is hand-written so it takes time. Waaaaah! Yeah I know.

I do think I found a solution, though, to make maintaining multiple blogs much easier.

All of my inbound links are from forum sigs and reciprocal link directories, which kinda sucks. Thinking about building several sites on different IPs that will naturally gather links (think adult image hosts) and eventually PR, and then use them myself for outbound linking to boost my own sites.

Would welcome the opportunity to talk shop with anyone else who is making more than me in this arena..

LOL i'm going to the opposite direction getting out of adult and into mainstream. Adult has been good to me but so far mainstream offers are making me much more money and is much more easier to scale.

Same deal for me, takes around 15-20 to setup and write my blog posts. I'm using w.bloggar to do all my blog postings to my Wordpress blogs right now. Also using Linkex for easy trading.

There's this semi-blackhat campaign I'd like to run, I know a perfect place to get nice free content:) Post those on different blog hosts and interlink them. Stopped after a while because it was such a pain in the ass to manage all of them.

I'm interested to try BH linkspamming with adult, but I'm wary of the laws. Drop a link in the wrong place by accident and you could have a problem.

Hey, I just started and have no idea where to get traffic. I have a review site on big jugs, anyone who's in the industry wanna trade links? Those who have had some success, any advise for a newbie like myself?

Links are generally best suited for your own ring of sites, if you have more than one. If you let them leave your sites, you've basically lost the chance to make them perform the action required for you to cash in, be it a click, or a sign up.

There's a lot of good SEO information on here that should be helpful... Most of it's in the "Traffic is Supreme" section. Have a squiz in there.

I crossed over from Adult into Mainstream 2.5 years ago. I personally think at this moment there is more money to be made in mainstream.

In addition, many more innovative solutions, sites and ideas are coming out of mainstream than Adult, whereas years ago it was the reverse.

HarveyJ - Are you saying that inbounds and outbounds should all be in your own ring - even if it is on the same IP?

Going to hop over to that forum you mentioned!
