Why is Copeac so slow?

I've heard that a4d switching their system. Glad to hear that.

I wonder if that's why there hasn't been new offers added in AGES! I like Ads4Dough (probably because I've got my first 2 checks from CPA with them and I'm very happy with the EPC I've been achieving) but I wish they had some fresh offers.

YES, Real Time Stats Matter Alot.

Speed is the most important issue by far. It was frustrating to see the ui changes at copeac when the site itself is so crazy slow.

Speeding it up the system was second to securing the infrastructure so that another networks issues don't take us down such as what happened two weeks ago. We found a solution to that and are working on implementation and will no longer be affected by other DT networks, we are now focused on the speed issues. We have some things we will do tomorrow that will speed it up in the short term. but finding a long term solution that doesn't delay stats is going to be difficult.

Do real time stats matter? If it was delayed 20-30 mins would that be an issue?

Its not the UI making it slow its the stats table and the way the system was set up.

A lot of networks delay stats, also all the major media outlets such as Google, Yahoo, MSN all delay stats. Hopefully we can find a solution that doesnt force a delay in stats.

Mike,

Herein lies the problem it seems. You have underestimated speed.

As affiliates we don't compare Copeac to Google and MSN, we compare you to other networks. Other networks dont have a slow interface.

I can't speak for others, but for me, I've become accustomed to (fairly) real time stats and stats that load instantaneously. If your problem was how your interface was originally coded, then get a better coder.

It is important. I'm pretty sure it costs you more business than you think it does. Other than that, you have a great network. But it does and will cost you significantly, imo.

I understand the comparison, and we are working on it, but you do realize most networks off DT are on a 15-20 minute delay right?

I don't know if that is right. We run DT, and on test leads that I can actually watch from start to finish, the leads seem to hit in under a minute.

Not saying your wrong, as I don't see the bulk of traffic from lead to hitting the network, but it doesn't seem to have that kind of delay.

Most networks NOT on DT

To be honest, its the slow interface I am talking about.

Again, this is intended as honest, open feedback. If I didnt like your network or run a large % of my revenue through it from time to time, I wouldnt even be in this thread.

I think the interface is slow due to the stats tables. Which is what we are working on.

The interface isnt heavy with graphics but it pulls a lot of data from the tables, those data tables arent designed properly for the level of volume coming through. Itll be worked on and fixed, just give us some time.

Great. Thanks.

Copeac has been loading pretty normal for me, not sure about the delay in stats though. But in a way the delay is reassuring. It shows a lot of affiliates hold trust in Copeac and push volume and have enough trust in Copeac to push the big numbers there.

A quick work around for the affiliates would be to utilize pixels or postbacks so you can see when you have leads from p202 rather than f5'n the hell outa copeac. It is good to see Mike taking feedback on and actually working on it. Good stuff Copaec!
