With great regret and sadness I have to post this..

Some of you may have known him strictly online and on WickedFire as he was one of the first members to show up and also a very big part in introducing and spreading the word of how awesome he thought WickedFire was.

The person I'm referring to is named Mikey Volk. You may know him on here as ThreeJuice.

There is a lot I want to say and write about, but I'm still in total shock about it all.

I just spoke to him the other night too about industry stuff, and before hanging up he told me he was looking forward to seeing us at ASW again, and hanging out like we always do.

I'm just completely at a loss for words right now about him and the whole shit storm. Sorry for not posting anything more than this. I'm still not even sure if the funeral is today and where it is, either in LA or NY (where his family is -- For us Jews, we have our funerals within 24 hours of the death).

Here's the news article about what had happened: San Bernardino County Sun - Man killed in limo crash

Just so tragic.. Sorry..

oh my God that is horrible. I'm sorry for the loss of your friend, Jon. I did not know him personally but his family and friends are all in my thoughts.

I am really sorry to hear that. I just read the story and can't believe that limo driver was working.

Didn't know him either... but thats no way to die.
I lost my 13 year old brother to a drunk driver 3 months ago... Fucking terrible.
People who drink and drive deserve to be beaten to death.

Rest in power, bud.

My condolences go out to his other best pals..

Joel Bess - my brother from another mother, I'm so sorry man. Call me asap.
Phil Hersch from Azoogle.
Kent K.- thanks for the info.
Kevin from XY7 - thanks for the text.

Wow... just wow...

Shocking!

Sorry for your loss bro! I had just met him formally at AdTech NY. We hung out for a minute at the Copeac booth. Really good guy.

Absolutely terrible man, my condolences.

I am very sorry to hear that. Such a terrible thing to happen.

::emp::

Sorry to hear, that is horrible. My condolences to all his family and friends. I've lost 3 family members in the past 3 years, one of them being my cousin who was just 22 years old so I know the feeling, especially when it's someone young. :crap:

Do your best to hang in there. May he rest in peace.

I'm sorry about your loss Jon, my sincere condolences to everyone who was close to him.

Why does it always have to be the good people to leave us and guys like the driver get to live...

That's shitty man. Condolences to his family and friends and the driver of the truck, who I'm sure must be feeling like shit too. Peace.
