This forum started going downhill after the Penguin update in 2012. With every Penguin rollout WF got worse.

Its hard to expect people to share a lot these days when every noob on internets that can spell "SEO" will spam and draw attention to any working method he can find.

At the peak of the industry you had affiliate managers uploading landing pages to bluehost/godaddy for their affiliates because the affiliate didn't know wtf they were doing but they had an internet connection, a credit card, and an e-book that told them to bid this much for this keyword on adwords and yet they still managed to make a living off of it.
Since then adwords has gone slap happy, facebook is sending mgrunnin to jail, and panda/penguin have eliminated people who relied on $5 links to their 1 page best-4-slice-toasterreviews-online.info websites.

I maybe looked for valuable posts on here in my first newbie year but I quickly figured out there's nothing of any value to be had anywhere. It's always been about shooting the shit and seeing if there are any other jackasses here that are fun to skype with. You still haven't figured it out, but in the end no one can truly help you in this.
No one can write anything of value really. OK sometimes it happens but it's such a rare occurrence, the thought of reading online marketing forums to get solid business ideas doesn't even cross my mind anymore. Your post just shows something deeper - that you still think there's a magic pill out there, something that will super charge your business or make you a quick buck maybe.
There's no such thing because those of us that have it would never post it on an online forum. Realize this is sort of like a lounge where like minded people can talk about shit, chill out and maybe bounce a couple general ideas here and there.

Learn to Reverse Engineer for all the other shit. (Google, bing, yahoo holds the cards open) Why even talk about it. Most of the shit sold publicity for cheap is bs. Find better link sources or build them. I'm not a huge PPC/PPV guy but I'm sure the same can be said.
Strategy Three.
Dont forget to have fun and enjoy life. We only live once. I dont want much personally. I just want to be free from the typical system people live in.

I also think some people moved to other things. Like tangible products / businesses vs just affiliate marketing. The questions might be more technical than theoretical. So other specific forums work better. The people sticking around are selling you something or just stop by for kicks.
