Okey, i'm still quite new to this game.

i have started an arbi site a little more than a week ago, it's not my first arbi site, but a first good hit. Nice niche, lots of traffic, mostly from AdWords at .05-.06 per click. Spending daily up to $200, making about 2.5 back. With this much traffic you get pretty much stable stats every day and they became predictable. All of sudden yeasterday was a crappy day, when i started to get almost 1:1 ROI, and today the traffic had died completely, i have got only a hanfull of AdWords clicks, when normally there would be hundreds of them by the same time.

Is it normal to have swings like that, did anybody experience anything similar?

Check your bid, someone may have found it and outbid you. Also check to see if you were smartpriced. Also check for worst case scenario, someone replaced your AdSense code (I doubt it). Swings like that are pretty normal but you could also have been hit with Google's little bot that checks up on sites since you're using AdWords. I've heard they have been cracking down on MFA and Arbi sites with a semi wink and nod attitude.

so your using adwords for arb and not 7search? thats pretty cool- I know it's become harder to do, which is why most people here have been using 7search... but i will still have to give it a try it seems!

Well, i'm using both adwords and 7search, but while 7search gives about 25 clicks on the average day, adwords provides 4000+ visitors. Considering the difference i don't care if i pay more for adwords, because i'm interested in volume.

Also i think zenglider is right and i was hit by smartpricing, the traffic regained but i'm getting less then a 7 cents for click, and it used to be 14-16.

14-16? Was your CTR at 70% that seems the only way you could make a profit?

well, i have managed to create a web site which is not a pure arbi one page site, but does provide something to users, so they usually go through a number of pages before clicking (or not) on the ad. The CTR i get is around 15%. Also you have to consider that while i'm getting hit by smartpricing on one end i get a little bonus on the other, because of a good volume of clicks i'm willing to pay for a get a little discount for adwords with one click average of .04 over some time.
