I have a .co EMD which is ranked #1 and makes me around £50 a day, that's after doing thorough conversion optimisation, list building and affiliate with solid products (computer security software).

The .com EMD is on sedo for 10 grand. the guy must be smoking crack to expect that. But who knows it's a compiter software security so there may be some fortune 500 company may be crazy enough to pay that for it. But it's so generic I don't think their marketing/seo teams will bother, like I said I only make £50 a day on it, and took me 6 months of hard work to rank, so I wouldn't really do it again, if I could, not worth the £50 a day for the work I put into it.

I would pay $600 for the .com EMD tops, that's probably a fair price, may go up to a grand at most. Google has downscaled the effectiveness of EMDs so do you guys think the price of EMDs will go down soon?

the domain in question is 3 words. but not shitty, it's a nice 3 word dimain like webhostingreviews.com

I don't care what google say, EMD is still great for SEO and that .com could beat your site
If the .com is not generating income it will not be sold for more than 1k so you might want to drop an offer for the owner

not what google say, google do

emd not much of boost for seo

3word domain name not worth it, has crap branding, better off just get a short 8 letter domain, at least you can brand that

emd still works but for branding that a different issue. Building a brand is not easy and usually needs a lot of money

G do nothing I have 4 words EMD (19 letters) .com and it sits on the #1 after 2 weeks of registration and been there for 3 month now with 20 backlinks and its a medium competition niche

And almost in every search you do you will find an EMD in the first page (if there is a developed EMD)

I have a lot of EMDs. I don't think they are the best for branding but for content sites, yeah.

Are they really selling for that much? I'd let mine go for $10k. Lol.
