Will this design psychologically improve your conversion

Hey guys, I need your opinion.. I'm in the mid of redesigning my landing page when one of my friend told me that having images of universe, stars, planets etc could improve conversion rate.. it's from the psychological point of view..

Have you got any experience in this..
 


Azlan Hussain - truly the space objects and scenery will improve your conversions. whatever you sell - the usage of "star images" greatly improve appeal of pretty ugly and useless stuff created by western civilization.
what your friend ment is use of "sparkles", stars, freaking super-nova-vomit-like imagery is appealing. Hence go for it. Drop some glow and you might get better CTR.
 
If your site is selling glowzone stickers, ya know thosw glow in the dark sticker of stars and planets and stuff that you put on your ceiling, then yeah maybe it will help your site convert.

I was asked years ago to rebuild a LP for a online education site for a nursing program. The LP they were using had a picture of a male doctor with a clip board facing away from the text of the page. When i asked why they chose a male doctor type image they said it looked more professional and most of the nursing students they were looking to reach were female so a woman would not be as appealing to them. They asked me to rebuild. I did. What i did was simple I removed the Male doctor with a clip board and replaced it with a sexy female nurse with a pencil in her mouth i made sure her body and face was turned towards the copy on the page and that the tips of her shoes pointed directly at the submit button. --Yes it worked increase conversions, and made people very happy. There are many tricks you can do on LP's that will make a huge difference and if you really want to figure that out. 1. test the crap out of it. 2. read a book on Kinesics or just simply lear about the basics of body language in men and women BODY LANGUAGE MESSAGES Female Body Language for Flirting, Dating, Romance and Love. Body language secrets for reading family, friends, and lovers. Flirting male body language and flirting female body language are revealed, too.

use those basic ideas and your LP's will rock.
