So, people (like myself), who aren't in won't be able to contribute. Because I'm sure I could help people out. Or am I just misunderstanding?
 


just finished reading both threads, I would like to partecipate, blog about weight loss, will be up by tomorrow night. I know it is late but would really like to learn especially the last part (marketing).
 
domain done, hosting done, word press installed, site up, just need a template, guys count me in, sorry for being late...

I am glad somebody mentioned this finally..otherwise we might be waiting another week. But I guess starting on the first of the month might make it easier to track for some people

I agree. It'll make it a whole lot easier to track success. In any event, after we all go through this, I don't see a reason why those of us that complete the 'course' couldn't take new people through it in a month or two, and then it could become a rolling thing...the new guys become the old guys and start teaching new ones again..

Dude, he has to manually add each person by hand. It'll be done soon enough. Why not concentrate on adding more content to your site in the meantime? Or making a second one to use the tactics that will be presented to you? Or a third?
 
I hope Jon can make an exception for a couple of people. I have been a member for more than a month now and this thread gave me the motivation to start doing something. I wrote my first post on wickedfire and 30 minutes later my WP blog was up thanks to it. And I think that's the point of this forum and that's why a lot of people are here.

Alright, I knew I was going to do this "experiment" but didn't know which site I would publicize. I'm going to use this framework to work and post daily on about 5 blogs that are more "niche" oriented, but I figured I'd make public a topic that some of you might enjoy reading about.

There currently isn't anything on the .com root... I'm hoping to develop this site at a later date so I put the blog in the /blog folder to get a head start on rankings/links/traffic and such.

Which, to tell you the truth, isn't a bad idea in general. Have a domain/concept that you want to develop sometime in the near future but don't have the resources? Start a /blog or /forum at the domain to get the ball rolling so you've got some nice link juice when you launch.

BTW - are updates now being posted in a new section? I hope I'm on the caboose and didn't miss the train. Let me know.
