I had a Wordpress install go down for a couple of days and I thought it was because of mis-configured php.ini file. It turns out that some auto-blog plug-ins were the culprit.
It was a real pain in the ass to figure out because the site wouldn't come back up even after increasing memory limit in php.ini file and it wouldn't even write an error log.
I was goofing around with wp-o-matic and wp-autoblog_2 with simple pie core. I had disabled wp-autoblog and left wp-o-matic running but the server still went down.
STILL haven't gotten around to installing multiple blogs using Wordpress MU and then mass installing the auto blog plugins. Ahhhh, this is going to get interesting....
