Ive spotted a few paid ones but cant find anything thats free...

Any clue where i can find some free ? or if there are any discount coupons or something for the ones that are paid as they are quite expensive...

Any that you'd find for free are likely going to suck anyways.

Also how is 160$ expensive, if you're able to earn that back easily when correctly utilized?

In a nutshell, you're not going to find anything for free that even comes close to a fraction of what bb_wolfe's plugin does.
 
yes, you're right, there is nothing good out there, for free.

But, im not sure this is going to workout so, its a fairly competitive niche and im not sure id be able to pull it off, i guess im not confident enough in my skills...

that plugin looks awsome tho...

To the OP, depending on what you need, try GD star ratings, or wp post ratings. They are kind of review-ish.

I just bought the one above and it's worth every last penny. I've been looking for something like this for ages - I had put off buying the other one (mostly because I hate limited license products, I hate buying something on the market when there really aren't any other contenders yet, etc etc). I'm just saying this because I was on the fence for months and searched around for "free" alternatives for months. I'll be disappointed if the "pay back" period for this is more than 30 days after the first site is up (which I doubt it will be)....

Hey, he should definitely pick up your plugin. It's worth the money. I just suggested the other ones if he's going to insist on a free option.

Those two plugins I suggested aren't a tenth of what bb_wolfe's WFreview plugin is. They're designed for readers to rate a blog's posts, and are so unsuited to what I needed to create a review site that I actually held off on one of my projects until bb_wolfe released his awesome plugin.
 
This plugin does look awesome, however a big part of it's "powerfulness" is the CSV feature... and honestly, i dont know where to get some of these... i did some google search for ".csv" along with keywords from the niches im working on and its just crap results... i even tried with random topics... ... i did find this : csvhome.com :: The largest CSV download site on the net (probably!) - Home and after registering took a look at their .csv database and opened a few... i didnt see how they can be usefull...

Anyways, for me 162$ US ( im canadian, so thats about 190+ can$ ) its a bit too much, especially since i wouldnt know what to do with that CSV feature... it would be nice to have a "lite" version of the plugin, without CSV support for a fraction of the price...
