Just thought this is something worth pointing out:

If you're writing ads to drive a arbitrage revenue through adsense, your ad copy should be as enticing as humanly possible to get them to the page. Once they are there, hopefully they will click.

If you're writing ads to drive affiliate revenue, you shouldn't ad TOO much fluff to your ad copy. Why? Because when they realize the deal isn't as good as your ad says, they won't buy! You've just paid for a click that was never going to convert to begin with. Use the ad copy as a "presale tool" to reach people who are likely to buy simply by giving them all the relevant information they are looking for.

You're not going to force someone to buy somethign they don't want to buy, so don't waste click money on exaggerated ad copy for affiliate offers.

I've been making my arb ads state that the site is informational - so they know going in i'm not selling anything...

As you become more experienced, you take little tidbits of knowledge that you once had to learn, or find out, or logically discover - for granted. Stating the obvious can help the newbs from blowing a few ppc bucks. And, since I'm mostly only qualified to help newbs... that's all I'm good for fer now!

for one of my arbit site i had an ad title...

"Sexy Singles Waiting For You Here"

everyone was clicking to find some sexy single biatch, but ended up with some content about singles looking for love and some adsense ads....and boy did they wanted to click on the ads to get out!

hahahaha
