What the fuck does that mean?

Here's what happens: whenever I load a new page, that stupid thing pops up three or four times before the page can load.

I let some teenager look at MySpace and now I get that. I fuckin' hate MySpace....

Anyhow, what is it and how do I fix it?

Thanks!

looking at way too much donkey porn mike!

Naw, the donkey porn never fucks up my machine. Just MySpace. Gawdamn kids and their fucking MySpace addiction. This girl spent two hours just watching stupid videos and dancing around to songs on there. WTF!

just goes to show why people are making thousands a day throwing ringtone offers at them. foolish people abound.

Yeah, no kidding. Makes me wish I had the tools to spam MySpace. Fucking worthless website.

BTW, spybot didn't find anything useful. Guess it's time to try the other 15 or so spyware, adware, malware cleaners I have. FUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What is that? IE, FF, Opera?
A simple re-install of FF or Opera after uninstalling and clearing out all registry entries for it should fix it. I dunno about IE I hardly ever open it unless I'm testing a design.

What extensions do you have installed? I'm pretty sure a similar error I was getting came from firebug. Not sure why though.

Firefox, lots of extensions. Haven't installed any new ones recently and all was well before the girl visited MySpace...

I just did a registry cleanup using CCleaner. Didn't help. I'm kind of reluctant to do a complete uninstall / reinstall of FF as I've got a ton of extensions and I really don't want to have to hunt them all down again. But, if nothing else works, I guess I'll have to... :(

Try this:

Disable all the plugins and see if it stops, then turn them back one by one to find the culprit.

Mike,

I may be preaching to the choir. You may already know this but, try running your anti-spyware/adware programs with windoze in safe mode. I've caught stuff that way that couldn't be found otherwise.

You seem to be talking a lot about this teenage girl visiting your house....and you were pretty nice to her letting her go on myspace and all....anything you want to tell us, Mike?

LOL!! She's one of our neighbors and her brother plays with James, my 4 year old. So, her and her boyfriend asked to use the computer. I'm a sucker, so I said, "Sure, just don't download anything".

Lesson learned.

/edit/ Found it! It was the Zend Toolbar extension that was causing the problem. I never used it before, and don't remember installing it, so I just uninstalled it and all is good in the world again. Maybe it was teenagers and MySpace...but I'm still not letting them use my machine for MS again! :D
