I'm going to test this post-call to action in my next landing page:
"Please try to throw in at least four digits past the deci point though. If you do, I'll send you a stack of bumper stickers and a couple WUPHF t-shirts. Think about it."
Not for me. That episode made me downright anxious. I hate seeing bad investments, people who hustle to coworkers/friends, people who are wasteful with said investment, idiotic corporate polices - especially with sales stuff (Jim's situation), and people who rip off kids and their parents (Dwight). That episode had it all.
I know The Office is often supposed to make you feel uncomfortable in a funny way, but I swear my blood pressure went up a bit too much during this one. It hit too close to home with the dotcom and sales stuff.
I guess that's quality writing though -- it got a stir out of me.
