I learned the hard way with Yahoo, I put in $1000 to play with and bid on "free games" for our gaming site, the top bid was only .20 or something, I had no curbs in place, started the campaign 8pm in the evening, fell asleep, woke up to the funds gone, and when I tried to add more, said I needed 3K.

You can phone them and explain you're new and you didnt know, theyll waive the forced payment ONCE I believe (the guy told me this), they probably update your profile with something like "ANOTHER SUCKER GIVEN A SECOND CHANCE" so you cant beg them twice...

It's annoying that they fill your account with 2-3x your daily spending limit, but it shouldn't be a huge deal - you'd be paying that in a few days anyway. Anyway, it's always possible to get money refunded to your card, so if your balance is $1000 and you don't want to use Yahoo anymore, you can get it back. Annoying, yes. Gone forever? No.

Totally shady, I agree. The annoying thing is you almost don't notice it. When I first saw 3 notifications for $1000 billed I just assumed it was an error and I'd only been billed once. Crazy.

I like YSM's traffic but stuff like that just drives you crazy. Even worse is their horrible keyword matching. I still don't get the difference between Standard and Advanced. Both seem to match very broadly and inconsistently. Guess I need to start use negative keywords. Erk!

ok I was talking about my campaigns that got pulled earlier not the ones in the image I posted. See Yahoo went through my account before and pulled all my ads I was running for PR5-PR4 websites down, and left ONLY my direct linking up.

ALSO it is .02% because it is running on the CN.

And yes this is my first time using Yahoo...But I am making half a K a day with my campaigns. So the thing is I suck at this shit and I am still getting paid. So I don't give a fuck.

Anyway, it's always possible to get money refunded to your card, so if your balance is $1000 and you don't want to use Yahoo anymore, you can get it back. Annoying, yes. Gone forever? No.
